Sam Williams
Sam provides a professional and non-judgemental perspective, which allows people to learn about their values and what they need in order to feel more alive and connected in their day-to-day lives.

Sam believes in having unconditional positive regard for all of her clients. She has experience in working with children, young people and adults. Her work is influenced by positive psychology & the desire to assist clients to achieve satisfaction and fulfilment in life.

Sam is passionate about personal growth and is always inspired by the resilience of the human spirit in the face of adversity. She holds a nurturing space to explore your emotional experiences in a safe and secure environment. She draws upon person centred therapies and evidence based techniques tailored to an individual ‘s needs.

These modalities include but are not limited to: CBT (Cognitive Based Therapies), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprogramming), Schema therapies, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), solution focussed therapies and mindfulness based techniques.
All sessions are private and confidential. Sessions can be held face to face or via telehealth in line with COVID safe regulations.

Will Kavangnah-Ryan
Will is a registered psychologist with experience supporting adults across both public health and private practice settings.
He works with clients experiencing a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and substance use, and has particular experience with complex or co-occurring presentations. Will understands that mental health challenges are often multifaceted and takes care to provide thoughtful, individualised support.
Will’s approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practice. He draws primarily on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), while integrating other therapeutic approaches to suit each client’s needs, goals, and preferences such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and is developing his skills to include Schema Therapy. He is committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel comfortable to explore their experiences and work towards meaningful, lasting change.
He welcomes clients seeking support at any stage in their mental health journey whether they are navigating a difficult period, feeling stuck, or looking to gain greater insight into themselves and their wellbeing.
Geraldine Nolan
Geraldine has over 20 years of experience working as a registered psychologist in a variety of settings, understanding individual’s needs and challenges and providing support. She has worked with adults in private practice as well as having employment in a range of settings including Defence and government roles. She initially provided assessment, training and support services to ADF members for a number of years. Since then, she has worked in a variety of roles which have included working with employees referred through EAP for support, as well as with managers and leaders to guide skill development.
With a focus on supporting patients by understanding their situation, Geraldine uses proven approaches including CBT and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing techniques and mindfulness. With any approach, she takes time to add specific strategies that fit the individual’s interests and preferences. She has supported people to identify their strengths and encourages goal setting that is realistic for each person. She has experience supporting patients with many concerns, including relationship issues, mood disorders, emotional regulation issues, chronic pain and employment related stress. In each case, the goal is to identify practical ways to achieve positive outcomes and develop the individual’s confidence along the way.
Nerida Kinross-Smith
Nerida has 30+ years’ experience in mental health, having trained as a clinical psychologist. She has previously worked in rehabilitation; community health with children and families; the education sector in assessment of learning and developmental difficulties ; such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), school and family interventions connected with parenting and behaviour/mental health issues in children and adolescents; adult assessment of developmental issues and learning difficulties; couples therapy and in private practice specialising in trauma treatment. She is a registered supervisor with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency) for psychology interns, post-graduate psychology students and psychologists seeking clinical specialisation, and can also offer supervision to other allied health professionals. She provides services to WorkCover, TAC, NDIS clients and to some Employee Assistance Program (EAP) clients.
Nerida’s treatment approaches include but are not limited to: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), attachment-focussed therapy, compassion therapy, schema therapy, clinical hypnosis, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), internal family systems (IFS), solution-focussed therapy, mindfulness techniques and support during grief and loss. She currently offers therapy only with adults, and adolescents over the age of 16 years.
She provides a holistic and individualised approach, while offering unconditional positive regard and confidentiality within highly ethical professional standards. She believes in strength of the therapeutic relationship and multi-disciplinary professional collaboration (where appropriate) as best supporting healing and positive change. Nerida brings compassion and empathy to her practice – believing she can only take her clients as far on their healing journey as she has been herself. She is committed to helping people develop their best selves – in mental and physical health; social connection and ongoing personal growth.
